Description:The ideal candidate is responsible for providing a variety of customer service assistance in receiving, processing, and balancing customer transactions on a daily basis. Cross sells products and services, and/or refers the customer to the appropriate staff.
Duties:Represents the Bank to the public, creating a favorable, courteous, and professional impression; greets customers in a friendly manner, assisting with their banking needs.
Acquires and maintains a thorough knowledge of and actively promotes the Bank’s products and services.
Receives checks and cash for deposit to savings and checking accounts and processes according to Bank policies and procedures.
Cashes checks and pays money from savings and checking accounts according to Bank policies and procedures.
Balances window daily, meeting Bank standards for accuracy and efficiency.
Resolves NSF and overdraft issues as requested.
May assist with branch capture scanning, vault, and ATM duties.
Adheres to security policies and guidelines.
Performs other duties as requested.
Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent
0 to 6 months bank teller experience; or one year experience in cash handling/customer service role
Ability to perform successfully in a team environment
Good verbal and written communication skills
Basic customer service, math, and business office skills
Basic analysis and problem-solving ability
Proficient in Windows-based PC environment
